Snack Dinner – Tacos! Provided by Marie Farney  6:00 – 6:30

To kick of the school year, the students got good and clean during Messy Twister last week.  Shaving cream on Twister mats turns into a slip and slide situation, which turns into a shaving cream fight!  Good clean fun, had by all!

The Youth are Hosting Church Game Day, Aug. 28

On Aug. 28th we’ll be hosting a Church Game Day from 3-5 in the afternoon in place of youth group.  This is a service opportunity for us to serve the church with food, fun and games.  We’ll need a youth or two hosting a game table, where you make sure everyone has met, agreed upon the rules and provide cookies, lemonade and coffee for those players who would like some!  It should be a great day for church members to get to know each other as well as us!  Come to Youth Group or Sunday school to sign up for a table to host!  Or email me: [email protected] to let me know if you’re available!  It will be a fun day!

Ropes Course Team & Faith Building

On September 18 & 25 we will be team building by doing a ropes course (low and high courses) to grow closer spiritually through trust and support. We ask you to pay $20, which is half of the cost. Sign up in the youth room on the clipboard on the chalk board. We would love for EVERY youth to participate so we can really get to know and trust each other as a group.  I will definitely need some parent drivers who are welcome to stay and help/participate.  The ropes course is in Larkspur. We will meet at the church at 11:45, for a 12 departure.  Expectation is to return to the church around 5.  Students will call parents on the way back for a more accurate pick up time.

Are you kids sometimes grounded from their phones?  To keep up with youth group changes, Subscribe!

Are your kids sometimes grounded from their phones or electronics?  I TOTALLY understand.  So, would you mind subscribing to Remind to receive my reminders and updates?  It’s fairly simple, and I really don’t send out too many notices. I’ve just had students miss some time changes, etc. because they didn’t have their phones….  So parents, to keep up with Youth Group subscribe:
